HD Televisions, or integrated HD sets are basically plug & play. If you have a digital signal you're ready to go. HD-Ready sets need an external HD tuner. The biggest difference is the price with the integrated sets being more expensive. The HD-Ready sets are cheaper, but you will have to buy more equipment.
