Mellow Mushroom
Mellow Mushroom is a groovy little pizza restaurant that sits in an old gas station. If the weather is nice order a few beers and a pizza and sit outside. Asheville's Mellow Mushroom is located downtown at 50 Broadway St.

The City Bakery is a great place to get a good sandwich and other items you expect at a first class bakery, but the selection is small and the prices a little high. The City Bakery is located at 60 Biltmore Ave.

This smoke free pub is a great place to stop after a long day of exploring downtown Asheville. Jack of the Wood Pub serves great food and great Ales with live music. Located at the corner of Patton and Coxe Streets.
